It’s refreshing to hear an agency like thjnk and a brand like Sixt say they are open to doing something different, and actually mean it. They both have a track record of already doing this in their work, it’s what defines them. So when I had the opportunity to write the script with Georg Bauer and Torben Otten from thjnk, I was excited to know that we’d have a lot of freedom to really experiment and throw some weird ideas out there. And anytime I get to be involved on the ground level like this, it allows me to be that much more tuned in to the overall project and understand more where they’d like to take the finished piece. By time we shoot, there’s already that shorthand established between us, which makes for a very enjoyable and efficient day on set. Which once again, just means that we have more time and space to experiment even more.
