Description:
"Asking your neighbors to swap their old, polluting stuff for electric stuff can be uncomfortable. But even more uncomfortable? The thought of our kids breathing in carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, or carcinogenic hydrocarbons from a nearby mower or leaf blower.
A research team at Edmunds compared how a two stroke gas-powered leaf blower and a Ford pickup truck release these toxic gases. The results show the leaf blower spewing seven times the nitrous oxide (which causes smog), 13.5 times the carbon monoxide, and nearly 300 times the hydrocarbons as the pickup!
As parents, we wouldn’t want our kids anywhere near the exhaust of a giant pickup truck. So why not steer away from gas-powered leaf blowers, especially when our kids are playing in the yard next door?
We created a simple, shareable video to let your neighbors know just how harmful these blowers can be. The more you share it on places like Nextdoor or Facebook, the more you can help spread the word. Without, you know, having to actually SAY anything."

Songs for a Sloth I Comedy, Drama I 85min
Director, Co-Writer: Bradley Hasse
On the edge of a nervous breakdown, Maxwell is shocked to find he has inherited a sloth sanctuary from his father. When a talking sloth (voiced by JACK MCBRAYER of 30 Rock, Wreck-it-Ralph, Despicable Me) visits his dreams, Maxwell becomes obsessed with saving the animal's habitat in his waking life by returning to his first passion, music.
“Hasse’s comedic drama possesses as much heart as it does astutely observed humor.” -Chris Salce, FilmThreat.com
“A poignant mix of comedy, drama, and existential angst, SONGS FOR A SLOTH explores the struggle to find a balance between dreams and obligations, between who we want to be and who we feel we should be.” -Scenester
“Hasse demonstrates that he's got the goods. The script is original and the actors are wonderful. …the interactions between the siblings sizzle.” -Tara McNamara, Common Sense Media
